The Coatings & Inks Division offers a specialty line of resins and additives and support services for the following applications: industrial coatings, UV/EB energy curing, architectural paints, graphic arts, adhesives, inks, and civil engineering.

FOAMASTER 59® "Drums, Pails" "Foamaster® 59 is a 100% active, liquid, broad spectrum, silicone-free defoamer. Foamaster® 59 is designed to deliver better defoaming persistence. This is particularly important in high shear applications and systems with high levels of surfactants that tend to degrade defoamer performance over time. Foamaster® 59 utilizes a unique new hydrophobe and does not utilize any silicone-based compounds. PHOTOMER® 4006   "Trimethylolpropane triacrylate. Fast curing, moderate/high irritancy monomer, this MFA forms tough, brittle films. General purpose monomer for inks and coatings."
PHOTOMER® 4015   "Monofunctional aromatic acrylate of low viscosity, low odor, moderate cure speed. Useful as a flexibilizer and suggested for UV curable litho, screen and flexo inks, clear litho coatings, and lacquers"
PHOTOMER® 4017   "HDODA. Low viscosity, general purpose monomer exhibiting outstanding solvency/viscosity reducing properties. Its long chain hydrocarbon backbone contributes flexibility and water resistance to cured films. Recommended for use in no-wax vinyl tile coatings."
PHOTOMER® 4025   Higher ethoxylate analog of PHOTOMER 4028. Water dispersible monomer which is fast curing and exhibits excellent flexibility and cured film properties. Suggested for paper/paperboard and photopolymer applications.
PHOTOMER® 4028   "Bisphenol A ethoxylate diacrylate. Fast curing, moderate viscosity monomer characterized by low skin irritancy. Forms abrasion resistant films with high tensile strength and good elongation. Used in overprint varnishes on paper/paperboard, litho and screen inks, and as a base oligomer. "
PHOTOMER® 4035   "2-phenoxy ethyl acrylate. Low viscosity, monofunctional reactive diluent. Forms tacky coatings on UV exposure. Suggested for screen inks, photopolymers and adhesives."
PHOTOMER® 4039   "Phenol ethoxylate monoacrylate. Low odor, low skin irritancy replacement for 2-Phenoxy ethyl acrylate. Recommended as a flexibilizer in coating for non-rigid substrates. Suggested for screen inks, photopolymers and adhesives."
PHOTOMER® 4050   "Polyethylene glycol 200 diacrylate. Low viscosity, reactive monomer that forms flexible homopolymers of moderate tensile and elongation with excellent MEK and stain resistance. Recommended for flexible substrates, photopolymer printing plates and no-wax vinyl tile coatings."
PHOTOMER® 4056   "Aliphatic difunctional acrylate of low viscosity, low volatility, and moderate reactivity. Effective reactive diluent with good viscosity reducint and solvency characteristics for a wide range of radiation curable acrylated oligomers and prepolymers."
PHOTOMER® 4060   High purity version of PHOTOMER 4061 (TPGDA) for packaging.
PHOTOMER® 4061   "All purpose low odor, reactive diluent with good cure response and moderate skin irritancy. Produces films that are pliable, hard, and glossy with moderately high tensile and elongation. Finds utility in a wide range of inks and varnishes for substrates"
PHOTOMER® 4072   "Trimethylolpropane propoxylate triacrylate. Aliphatic trifunctional acrylate of low viscosity, low skin irritancy and moderate cure response. Exhibits lowest shrinkage of any trifunctional MFA. Good for use in litho, overprint varnishes, and photopolymers."
PHOTOMER® 4094   "Glyceryl propoxylate triacrylate. Versatile MFA used in many ink and varnish formulation. Exhibits fast cure and good water balance properties in web offset litho inks. Generates films of relatively high crosslink density, more flexible than TMPTA. For varnishes and sealers. "
PHOTOMER® 4095   Glyceryl propoxylate triacrylate. High purity version of PHOTOMER 4094 (GPTA) for packaging.
PHOTOMER® 4126   "Neopentyl glycol propoxylate diacrylate. Low odor, reactive diluent with good cure response and low skin irritancy. Excellent wetting and flexibility properties. Effective for pigmented systems (developmental)."
