Dominion Colour Corporation (DCC) lays claim to over half a century of pigment manufacturing in North America and around the world.

Since 1946, DCC has transformed itself from a small Canadian operation, into a strong worldwide competitor supplying to the coatings, plastics and ink industries. Currently, we have manufacturing facilities in Ajax (Canada), Toronto (Canada), Paterson (USA), and Xinxiang (China). NEW Dominion Colour Products:
DCC 2728 is a Pigment Red 57:1 that is positioned as an improved version of DCC 2733 for plastic applications, where it exhibits superior ease of dispersion. DCC 2728 is a calcium salt Lithol Rubine and provides a blue shade versus DCC 2721. DCC 2728 exhibits high tinctorial strength and good shear stability in LDPE.
Please note: Pigment Red 57:1 exhibits poor lightfastness.

DCC 2782 is a Pigment Red 48:1 that is positioned as an improved version of DCC 2780 and DCC 2781 for plastic applications, where it exhibits superior ease of dispersibility. Pigment Red 48:1 is a barium salt 2B Red that provides a yellowish to medium red shade. It exhibits medium tinctorial strength and good light fastness to migration in plasticized PVC. Pigment Red 48:1 is also stable in blooming and almost completely bleen resistant. DCC 2782 offers superior performance versus competitive products.
