ImerSealTM 75

 A Novel Mineral Additive for Sealants and Coatings

ImerSeal™ 75 is a calcium carbonate that is specially processed and treated to have lower moisture content and moisture pick-up, improved dispersion, and less reactivity compared to the treated precipitated calcium carbonates or other mineral additives used in these applications.

Typical applications are in adhesives, caulks, sealants, coatings, and inks markets. 

 

ImerSealTM 75 has: 

  • Very low moisture content and pickup
  • Very low moisture variation
  • Offers a solution to complex moisture control
  • Has the ability to be used where minerals are not used today because of inherent moisture
  • Easy to disperse
  • Thixotropic rheology can achieve zero slump at workable loading levels
  • Offers the opportunity to use increased loadings
  • Acts also as a white extender pigment
