Prior to joining Fitz Chem in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative, Deborah previously worked for another chemical distributor for many years. Deborah’s knowledge of the chemical distribution industry will be of immense help to her in her in new position. In her role as Inside Sales Representative for the Personal Care division, she will provide technical assistance as well as product recommendations for personal care customers.

Patricia previously worked in a variety of manufacturing industries mainly focusing on purchasing and inventory control. Pat’s responsibilities include purchasing, coordinating and controlling Fitz Chem’s entire inventory, ensuring Material Safety and Data Sheets are current as well as working one-on-one with Fitz Chem’s suppliers and Technical Industry Managers on inventory issues to accurately forecast customer requirements.

Jennifer’s new responsibilities include conducting customer service meetings; coaching and training the customer service representatives and developing new ideas on improving Fitz Chem’s customer service.

Aqualon is a world leader in water soluble polymers that manage the physical properties of aqueous systems. Aqualon’s products are used in applications where thickening/rheology control, water retention, adhesive strength, binding power, film formation and protective colloidal/suspension/

Fitz Chem is celebrating its 20 th anniversary this year with a multitude of special events planned throughout the year. Fitz Chem is proud of its success and thanks employees, customers, suppliers and friends for all their support.

Mr. Robert Milano, Marketing Manager for Fitz Chem said “Fitz Chem Corporation was established in 1985, starting with only four sales representatives and four support staff covering a three state region growing to the current staff of fourteen sales professionals and sixteen support professionals covering a seventeen state region. Our growth has been fueled by our Vision: ‘Growth Through Reputation’ in conjunction with our ‘Customer Focused Sales Philosophy’. Each and every Fitz Chem Associate has contributed to our growth and we plan to recognize and celebrate our successes on this, our 20 th anniversary.”

Mr. Milano said that half the fun was trying to find unique ways to celebrate. “We are going out of our way to find ways to say “Thanks” to those who put us where we are today”. An example he cited was on June 21 st, which marks the date of the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. “We decided since the day was so long, we would force it to be shorter and offered each Associate the opportunity to pick a day that week to sleep in and come to work 20 minutes late! Most events for the celebration surround the “20” theme.”

Mr. Robert Becker, President, gave a presentation titled ‘20’ Things To Do with Your Family this Summer at a recent company meeting, citing examples of events and activities each Associate might want to do with their families over the summer. Mr. Becker told attendees at the meeting “In recognition of all the hard work each Associate has done for Fitz Chem over the past 20 years, we would like to give something back to each Associate in the way of a “Fitz Chem Family Recognition Day”. He asked each Associate to take a day off, with full pay and benefits, to celebrate our company’s success with their families. Mr. Becker said, “Each Associate’s family has also played a role in the success of the company, and they should not be excluded from our celebration. Enjoy the day! No working on the side! Celebrate!”

Other planned events include a company sponsored baseball outing, pumpkin carving contests, a company ‘manicure’ day, and a multitude of other surprise events still left undisclosed. “We have a
